Earthquake shaking in Elbasan

Slight earthquake tremors were felt yesterday evening in Elbasan.

According to EMSC, the earthquake had a magnitude of 2.9 on the Richter scale, while its epicenter was 8 km northeast of Elbasan and 37 km southeast of Tirana.

The tremors were felt at 22:50, while the focal depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers according to the preliminary reports of the European Seismological Institute.
