SPAK requested today for the former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka , a sentence of 10 years in prison was requested, but due to the acceptance of the shortened trial, the prosecution ultimately requests that he be sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison. 

For the former socialist deputy,  Alqi Blako , 7 years were requested. Due to the acceptance of the shortened trial goes to 4 years and 8 months.

Former minister Ylli Manjani reacted to SPAK's claim through a post on Facebook where he wrote that: criminal justice is part of public law and as such, it should serve the public interest and not terrorize the public with punishments for statistics.

Manjani has raised several questions for SPAK, regarding the accusations against former minister Lefter Koka and former deputy, Alqi Blako.

Manjani asks about the former minister Koka: " How much money did he get? Where did he take it if he got it? ", while about MP Bllako: 'How did he waste his office and how much damage did he bring to the state from where he wastes it'.

Manjan's post: 

Pra, pas pretencave në të dy gjykimet për inceneratorët e Elbasanit dhe Fierit, publiku nuk mësoi dot:

1. Cila ishte afera e paligjshme?

2. Kush e prezantoi idenë dhe si u mor vendimi për trajtimin e mbetjeve me incenerim, menyrë më e shtrenjtë e mundshme?

3. Përse 3 inceneratorë? Kaq shumë mbetje prodhon Shqipëria? Elbasani nuk punon gjithë vitin...

4. Sa i kushtuan buxhetit 2 incemeratorët dhe sa do i kushtojë në të ardhmen?

5. Nëse kishte korrupsion sa ishte vlera e korrupsionit? Kush e pagoi vlerën, kujt dhe ku janë paratë e korrupsionit?!

6. Më në fund kush gënjeu ata që vendosën dhe zbatuar skemën me incenerim apo ata që denoncuan këtë çështje si aferë?!

No public interest response was given. Just a show, arrests and sentences completely unrelated. No logic and no sense. The point is, what crime has Arben Dervishi, a private engineer, committed?! Is Pigeon Abeshi an experienced sub-worker?!

And the business that was involved in this venture, what crime did it commit?! Why did they give him a job called a crime?!

How much lek did Lefteri get?! Where did you take them?!

How did Alqi squander his office and how much damage did he bring to the state?

Etc, etc...

Criminal justice is part of public law and as such, it should serve the public interest and not terrorize the public with punishments for statistics.

In short, they didn't do anything about this issue. They simply contributed to satisfying the "popular hunger" to punish people!
