New details have been revealed from the gunshot wound shortly after noon this Monday in the city of Durrës. The 31-year-old Ardit Kërtusha, former candidate for the head of the Socialist Party in Durrës, was injured.

Sources suggest that the event took place in the bar 'Zins', owned by rapper Noizy. Kërtusha was injured in the leg, after a conflict for weak motives.

The 31-year-old is in the hospital under the care of doctors, out of danger for life. Police are working to identify and apprehend the perpetrators, as well as fully uncover the event.

Ardit Kërtusha ran for president of SP Durrës in 2020 and then withdrew from the race. Prior to the April 25 elections, he joined the Democratic Party and held meetings with Lulzim Basha and was presented by the latter as a socialist disappointed by Edi Rama's government.
