The Greek authorities in the port of Piraeus seized this Thursday morning 250 kg of cocaine, hidden in a container of shrimps.

The Greek media reports that the container that came from Latin America had as its final destination Albania, where the distribution of the narcotics would take place.

So far, according to  Newsbomb.gr,  an Albanian has been arrested for the case in question, who was on the run since 2017 and was accused of producing captagon pills, also known as jihadist drugs.

Meanwhile, police sources for Protothema confirm that the operation is continuing to find another 100 kilograms of cocaine.
