Ilir Kulla, once an advisor to former Prime Minister Fatos Nano, has commented on the current health condition of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano, who was hospitalized for several months last year, in danger of his life.

"Fatos Nano is a great statesman and an erudite politician, who has made contributions to the democratic life of Albania, has paid with 4 years of political imprisonment. He has been prime minister 4 times and has known how to step down at the right time. He is the man who has produced more politicians than others as party leader, including Rama, Meta, Majko, etc.," said Kulla in an interview with journalist Roland Qafoku.

He also asked about Fatos Nano's current health.

"He is well. He has gone through a very difficult period. He has been rehabilitated. I still keep in touch with Nano. He lives in Tirana. In the last two or three years he has been going through serious health problems. Now he is in a rehabilitation period. It was a difficult period, he almost left this world, he was in danger of death. Now he has overcome the danger," he said.
