The 61-year-old Paulin Pacuku, who a day ago negligently killed his wife Vitore Pacuku, has been arrested by the Police. Until this stage of the investigation, the father of 2 children has been charged with manslaughter and possession of a weapon without a permit.

From the investigative actions carried out, it turned out that the 61-year-old man was cleaning the pistol, which he was carrying without a permit, and due to carelessness at some point the weapon was fired.

The bullet hit 54-year-old Vitore Pacuku in her vital organs, and despite first aid, she could not survive and died during transport to Mirdita hospital.

Paulin Pacuku was part of the Mirdita police structures for several years and then he left the country, but he returned to his homeland a few years later.

The husband and wife couple were parents of two children, but at the time of the incident none of them were at home, in the village of Jezull in Mirdita.
