Former director of AKSHI appeals to the Supreme Court, requests removal of security measure

Former director of the Albanian National Academy of Sciences, Mirlinda Karçanaj, appeals to the Supreme Court and requests the lifting of the security measure.

The draw has appointed Senior Judge Genti Shala as the judge to review the request.

Mirlinda Karçanaj is under indictment by SPAK for abuses with the tenders of the agency she ran and is under house arrest by decision of the GJKKO.

According to SPAK, the director of the National Agency for Public Procurement, Mirlinda Karçanaj, committed the criminal offense of "violation of equality of participants in public tenders and auctions" within the framework of a structured criminal group.
