
Two false phone calls a day ago have alerted and put the capital's police in motion. According to the police report, a person called the operations room claiming that explosives had been placed in a vehicle. After investigations, it turned out that the alarm was false, and he was released.
"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 1 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in the absence of the citizen Gj. B, after yesterday he notified the operational room claiming that explosives had been placed in a vehicle. From the entirety of the investigative actions, it resulted that the notification was false", the police announced.
Meanwhile, another call reported gunshots in Yzberisht, but this case also turned out to be false. Police are working to identify the perpetrator.
"On 15.04.2026, at around 13:00, a citizen notified the operations room that there were gunshots in Yzberisht. From the entirety of the investigative actions, it resulted that the report was false. Work is underway to identify and capture the citizen who made the false report," the police announced.
