The State Police have identified the girl who died today at a very young age after being involved in a tragic car accident.

The victim is Elvina Elezi, 23 years old, a resident of Tirana.

The deceased lost her life in the early minutes of today in a tragic accident that occurred on the outskirts of Tirana.

The Tirana Local Police Directorate officially stated that on February 13, 2026, at around 00:00, on the "Vorë - Fushë-Prezë" road axis, citizen Elvina Elezi, aged about 23, is suspected of having lost control of the vehicle, which collided with the side barriers of the road.

The blow was strong and caused fatal injuries to the young woman. Although she was taken to the emergency room, as a result of the impact on her vital organs, the 23-year-old died in hospital.

The investigative group continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the accident, while the procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
