Assassination in Rinas, Court releases two police officers who issued the certificate for Muçi Shaljani

The Criminal Court of Tirana has decided to declare the arrest of two police officers from police station number 3 in the capital illegal and did not impose a security measure on them.

The prosecution had requested the imposition of security measures, including an obligation to appear and a ban on leaving the country until the circumstances of the investigation are fully clarified.

Two officers Bruno Cara and Arshim Zajmi were prosecuted by the AMP after they provided the certificate for Muçi Shaljani alias Sheqeri to enter the workforce.

They were arrested on November 12, after the assassination attempt in Rinas, where Gilmando Dani was killed and an AMP officer was injured, who died this Saturday in hospital, November 15.
