This is the 37-year-old Shpati Lena, who together with his friend Hakim Xhezo, were killed in a mafia assassination on the Vlorë-Fier highway, at the Panaja crossing.

In addition to the friendship and family relationship that both have with the citizen Eduart Xhezo, convicted for a murder in Vlora in 2019 and filed for criminal activity, the two victims are united by a past related to drug issues.

Investigators told TV Klan that they believe the two people were targeted by the perpetrators, who appear to have left no trace behind.

For the purpose of providing some concrete evidence, some people in the coastal city are passing through the Police sieve and are being kept under surveillance. Meanwhile, the security cameras at the highway entrance did not capture clear images that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators.

Shpati Lena, also known as Geno, as well as Hakim Xhezo, were shot with a volley of bullets a few meters before they went to the overpass of Panaja by a moving car that had followed them for several kilometers, TV Klan reports.
