A triple assassination took place in the late hours of Saturday evening, on July 20, in the city of Memaliaj where the victims were Shyqo Kalemi, the 74-year-old father of Andrea Kalemi.

A special investigative group has been set up to clarify the event and it is learned that one of the tracks of the investigation is the saga of murders started in 2022, with the execution by bomb of Aleksandër Sadikaj and after 6 months, the murder of Edmond Pope at the Headquarters, in front of his brother's apartment.

The crimes seem to have sat cross-legged in the Kalemi and Sadikaj families, their revenge is not finding peace even though many lives have been taken, without even the innocent being spared.

The young man had just left his partner at home and was alone when his car exploded and both of his legs were initially damaged, then he was transported to the hospital but could not cope with the many injuries he received from the explosion with tritol which at the time was reported to have been more than 150 grams, which means that the assassins definitely wanted to eliminate it.

Exactly 6 months and 5 days after the barbaric execution of Aleksandër Sadikaj, gunshots were heard on the evening of December 16 in the Selita area.

More than 7 bullets were poured towards the body of Edmond Papa, 6 of which pierced his body and took his life immediately at the scene, without any hope that he would go to the hospital.

The last moments, the Pope spent in attempts and efforts to restrain the executioner to whom he tried to throw ashes, but the magazine filled with bullets was emptied on him, leaving him dead on the spot.

After several investigations, police station number 6 in the capital, which had set up an investigative group, arrested Albano Velo, while Andreë Bode, known as Andrea Kalemi's friend, was wanted.

But it seems that the saga of murders would not end with the first 2 murders between the 2 tribes, on January 12 of this year Andrea Kalemi's brother escaped an assassination while he was traveling in a Smart car in the underpass area in Selitë, he remained injured in the leg. Another moving vehicle emptied its magazine towards Zamir Kalemi's vehicle, but fortunately he managed to escape death.

As the last so far is the triple assassination recorded in Memaliaj, which still has no author and responsible persons in handcuffs, but the main track is that of revenge which is not sparing even those who are not involved.
