Journalist Artan Hoxha has appeared in SPAK.

It is learned that he was summoned for the January 21 file.

Artan Hoxha is expected to give clarifications regarding an audio material, which shows the communications of the Guard employees, before and after the January 21 protest.

We recall that a few months ago, the Supreme Court decided that 'January 21' should be investigated by SPAK, which is obliged to record the proceedings.

This is the order of the Supreme Court, which accepted the request of Aleks Nika's family members, so that the state crime of 13 years ago can be fully revealed.

On January 21, 2011, Edi Rama, at that time the head of the opposition Socialist Party, led a demonstration against the government of the time, led by the Democratic Party politician Sali Berisha, in front of the prime minister's office on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard in Tirana.

The protest was called by the Socialist Party after a video emerged implicating then-Foreign Minister Ilir Meta in corrupt activities - showing him discussing how to profit from a public tender.

During the protest, violence broke out, while the protesters clashed with the police and four protesters - Ziver Veizi, Faik Myrtaj, Hekuran Deda and Aleks Nika - were shot by the Republic Guard. Several others were injured by gunfire.
