Our country is expected to be swept by strong storms over the weekend, causing waves of up to 4 meters.

For this reason, the captaincies in Durrës and Vlora have decided to suspend some ferry lines between our country and Italy.

Notice of worsening hydrometeorological conditions during the dates 09-10-11.03.2024!

Based on the forecast for the deteriorating hydrometeorological situation along the Albanian coast during the dates 09-10-11.03.2024 starting from 14:00 on 09.03.2024 in the direction South-South-East, South-South-West in the force up to 7- 8bft to 9bft with wind speed up to 25-45m/s and wave height from 2.50 to 4 meters.

In order to prevent any unexpected situation due to atmospheric conditions, we ask for the cooperation of all entities that exercise activity in the maritime field, to take all the necessary measures to secure the tools in the port and increase the readiness of the crew in the tools floating.

International maritime transport ships for passengers and vehicles on the line Durrës-Bari-Durrës and Vlorë-Brindisi-Vlorë will continue to operate normally according to the respective destinations on Saturday.

The Durrës-Ancona-Durrës ferry will operate normally on Sunday.
