After being spotted by the police as the keeper of a cannabis farm in Great Britain, Albanian Etmont Lika found an epic method to hide from the police. He tried to hide by climbing on the roof.
Authorities were tracked down to the bar by a tip from a local locksmith. While changing the locks of a property he noticed it was a drug farm.
Police searched the property and found 200 cannabis plants growing in six rooms over six rooms in what was described as "a sophisticated operation".
Lika tried to hide from the police by climbing on a roof, but was caught and arrested. Lika came to the UK via a boat across the channel in September last year, hoping to gain better economic opportunities. Lika said that she paid 5000 euros for the trip.
While his lawyer said her client was offered £100 a day to live in the property and left Albania for economic reasons. She said: “He wants to work but he knows now that he should have done it through the proper channels.
