The four accused in connection with the salary scandal where all salaries were published together with the private data of Albanians will only be sentenced to probation. The Court of Tirana has given the verdict for the accused:

Eni Qirjako , 32 months of probation

Andi Agaraj , 4 years of probationary service

Klodian Sota , 32 months of probation

Endri Ikonomi , 32 months of probationary service

We remind you that the scandal with salaries and other personal data shook the country at the end of the year we left behind. Three documents with the personal and confidential data of about 650 thousand Albanian citizens, among which two with salaries and another with car license plates, circulated on social networks, thus violating the privacy of every citizen.

While Prime Minister Edi Rama is justifying himself, it seems to be claimed that a "destabilizing hand" had extracted the data on purpose, a version that was rejected by the Prosecutor's Office.
