The founder of Alibaba, Jack Ma, one of the richest people in the world, who for 3 years left the world in anguish after his disappearance, has visited Albania.
His photos were published in one of Tirana's restaurants, which is located only 100 meters from the prime minister's office.
Ma was in our country three days ago, accompanied by 6 Chinese (it is not known if they were businessmen or part of his staff).
Since Jack was seen very close to the prime minister, one cannot but suspect that he is in our country to do some negotiations for his business, which is being banned in some states. The latest case was the British Government which ordered the administration not to use 'Ali Baba' (a Chinese multinational technology company specializing in e-commerce, retail, internet and technology).
Is this 'secret' trip of Jac connected with the negotiations he is doing in Europe, in order not to block his business....
We remember that Jack Ma's businesses have been under great pressure from the Chinese authorities for years. Ma has not appeared in public or on social media, a week after Alibaba's much-anticipated IPO was subsequently canceled by Chinese regulatory authorities. Chinese authorities have criticized the company for harming competition and abusing dominant market positions.
In China, Alibaba is under investigation for monopolistic behavior. The Wall Street Journal reported that Beijing was trying to get a big chunk of his business, citing people close to the matter. I also missed him in the finale of Africa's Business Heroes that he created. Although Ma has no executive role in the company he co-founded, he remains Alibaba's largest individual shareholder with a 5% stake, or a value of $25 billion.
