A few days ago, Altin Mecaj ended up in the hospital, according to him, beaten by three people in the yard of his apartment in Fier. For this incident that caused him numerous injuries, Mecaj accused the police officer, Fredi Lamaj, after, according to him, he had commented on his sister on Facebook.
On Friday, the woman in question denied Mecaj's accusations, saying that she was not raped by her brother, Fredi Lamaj, and published the messages sent by Mecaj, some of which were inappropriate.
"I am Fredi Lamaj's sister and I want to clarify that the accusations of citizen Altin Mecaj, that my brother raped her, are not true. Fredi Lamaj has not participated in any beating or conflict, and this can be proven. I am speaking because for more than 6-7 days this citizen has been continuously appearing in the media, making false statements and unfairly presenting himself as a victim. In particular, he has publicly stated that he only made one comment to me on Facebook, as a compliment, which is not true. In reality, I have been the subject of numerous private, continuous and insistent messages, which constitute harassment and persecution," says the woman, to whom Mecaj addresses himself as Fize in the messages.

"I want to clearly emphasize that there has been no response from my side to these messages. I have not communicated and have not had the opportunity to return the deserved response, since Facebook did not allow me to write to them, which makes even clearer the fact that the communication has been one-sided and unwanted. These behaviors have caused serious emotional and family concerns, both for me and for my family."
She says she has filed a criminal complaint against Mecaj for stalking. "From information that has been communicated to us by various people, it appears that these behaviors are not isolated, but repeated towards other girls," she says.
According to Mecaj, on January 10, he received a message saying "I don't know who you're messing with" from Fredi Lamaj, Fize's brother. "At 11 o'clock when I arrived home, the lights were turned off, I was called by name to go outside and when I went out the door, he immediately shot me without a second thought and repeated the messages. There were at least three people," Mecaj declared. "If I'm wrong, there's an apology, if for a "like" or even a comment... there's an apology. But for it to reach such a stage that it's going to take me to the hospital... I ask that this not happen again and I want my rights."
