Police announcement:

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Tracking" is being carried out by specialists from the Serious Crimes Sector of the Tirana Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Krujë Police Commissariat.

The operation, still ongoing in the Krujë district, within the framework of intensive investigative and operational work, with the objective of clarifying the authorship and circumstances of the event of 12.11.2025, at the Rinas roundabout.


A house is discovered in the village of Zall, Fushë Krujë, where an arsenal of explosive weapons, firearms and ammunition was kept.

During the searches, the following were found in this apartment:

-3 TNT cans;

-12 assault hand grenades;

-quantity of explosives ready to explode, assembled with detonator caps, fuses and mobiles (mines);

-3 grenade launchers, detonator caps and 5 cell phones;

-4 firearms (2 automatics and 2 rifles), 8 combs and weapon parts;

-6000 cartridges of various calibers;

-2 kg and 25 grams of Cannabis.

Following the procedural actions in the case, the owner of the apartment, citizen YZ, 48 years old, was declared wanted.

Intensive efforts are being made to capture him, and an investigation is underway to uncover the possible connection the 48-year-old may have with the incident that occurred at the Rinas roundabout.

The police operation, codenamed "Tracking", continues.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
