The mayor of Kukës, Zenel Kuçana was fired this Thursday, by decision of the Council of Ministers.

Ali Hallaçi has been appointed in his place. The decision entered into force immediately after the government meeting.

DECISION ON THE RELEASE AND APPOINTMENT OF THE PRESIDENT OF KUKËS REGION

Pursuant to Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution, and Article 5, of Law no. 107/2016, "On the Prefect of the Region", on the proposal of the Minister of Interior, the Council of Ministers

VENDOSI:

Mr. Zenel Kuçana, prefect of Kukës Region, is relieved of this duty.
Mr. Ali Hallaçi is appointed prefect of Kukës Region.
This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
