In Albania there is no confirmed case of monkey pox so far. The news was confirmed by the deputy director of the Institute of Public Health, Dritan Ulqinaku, as he shows the symptoms with which this disease appears, either internally or on the surface of the body.
"Officially no, we have not yet identified any suspected cases of the disease known as monkey pox. If there is any hidden form that in the coming days will pull the head out, we will be in touch. It is characterized by swollen lymph glands, redness of the face, other limbs, acne that enlarges, liquefies and leaks. said Ulqinaku in Klan News
But the situation is different with acute hepatitis, for which the authorities say that there are some suspected cases in our country as well.
"We have had suspicious cases, maybe every week with acute hepatitis. "We hope he did not come to us," said Ulqinaku.
Monkey pox and acute hepatitis are two diseases that have raised fears and alarm among health authorities around the world. While Ulqinaku said in the end that the structures in Albania are on alert and are investigating every case, but so far no suspicion has been confirmed. He also added that doctors are being trained to identify and then, to cure cases.
