A serious incident was reported in Korça today. A 21-year-old woman has reported surgeon Nikolla Nunka for sexually harassing her.

The young woman presented to the hospital emergency room with abdominal pain and vomiting, and after medical examinations, it was decided that she would undergo surgery for her appendix.

In her testimony to police, the 21-year-old stated that during her stay in the hospital, the surgeon who was caring for her inappropriately touched her private parts, claiming to be performing a medical examination. She also added that the doctor attempted to kiss her on several occasions.

The 21-year-old's father has also spoken out about the case, demanding justice.

Father's testimony : I came on vacation from Germany. For two weeks, the maid had been complaining of stomach pain and vomiting. I took her to the pharmacy for medication, but it didn't work. Then her mother took her to the hospital. Doctor Niko Nunka and the scanner doctor came there, who said that there was nothing wrong and that we should wait for the tests until 12 o'clock at night. When the tests came back, the doctor said that she had appendicitis and needed urgent surgery.

I brought my daughter in and the doctor told her she was going to have surgery. He asked her if she had eaten anything and the girl said yes, so the surgery couldn't be done at that moment and they left her until the morning.

The next morning, the operation was performed and at 3:00 PM they took her to the room. We were told that the girl had an infection and needed treatment. The doctor said that he had creams for this and would treat her. I said "okay".

He always used that cream. While his mother was there, he would take his daughter into the room and treat her, while telling his mother: " Go back ."

We didn't think anything bad would happen, because she was old and we said "it's the doctor." 4 days passed and the girl said she could apply that cream herself. Yesterday the doctor came and did inappropriate things, even trying to kiss her there.

 At that moment the girl exploded and couldn't take it anymore. I asked her why she hadn't told me before and she said she didn't want to make a fuss, but she had run out of patience.

At that moment I called the police and we went downstairs nervously. I saw the doctor leaving in an ambulance and I stopped him there. I said to him: “You are under arrest.” I got him out of the car until the police arrived. We went to the police and were questioned.

I want justice for the girl. If justice is not found for her, I will find it myself. I do not forgive him. I trusted him, I saw him as an old doctor. But he was a criminal hiding in the hospital.
