Erisa Fero was released from the women's prison in Pojska today, after benefiting from a criminal amnesty.

She was arrested in December 2022, after 58 kilograms of cannabis were found in the vehicle she was driving on the Pogradec-Qafë Thanë axis, which according to investigations was to be trafficked towards North Macedonia.

The case received great public attention due to the position Fero held in the state administration.

After the arrest, the AKSHI announced her removal from office, while today she has regained her freedom as a beneficiary of criminal amnesty, after serving part of her sentence.
