
Two powerful explosions with pyrotechnics have created panic this evening in the city of Saranda, alarming residents and visitors to the area.
The incident occurred in the area known as "Plazhi i Ri", where police forces immediately intervened.
After preliminary investigations, officers have identified and detained two young men suspected of throwing high-explosive pyrotechnics.
The detainees are Ervis Ogici, 18 years old, born and residing in Saranda, and the 17-year-old with the initials KK, 17, born in Kozani and residing in Corfu, Greece.
Both have been escorted to the Saranda Police Station, where procedural actions are being taken against them for the criminal offense of "Disturbance of public order and peace."
Investigations into the incident are ongoing, as authorities work to uncover all the circumstances surrounding the incident.
