Berisha says Rama caught salmonella: He kept it a secret! The businessman who brought the chickens was an exponent of the Socialist Party

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has stated that businessman Arben Goxha, who brought chicken with salmonella to Albania from Brazil, is an exponent of the Socialist Party.

During a meeting with farmers in Elbasan, Berisha stated that Goxha had brought chicken fillets to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to Berisha, Rama contracted salmonella, but kept it a secret, even from doctors. 

"The businessman who brought the chicken with salmonella was an exponent of the Socialist Party. He also brought it to Rama, he caught salmonella and lied to the doctors," Berisha said.
