Two robberies in Berat with the same scheme, the perpetrators take safes with

Two robberies have been recorded in the last 10 days in the Berat region, where two businessmen were robbed during the night. In both cases, the perpetrators used the same scheme, forcibly entering the premises and taking the safes.

One of the thefts occurred at the "Veza e Mëngjesit" business, along the Berat-Dimal national axis, owned by citizen Leonard Fani. The thieves broke down the main door of the building and then took the safe.

The other case was registered in the apartment of citizen Lumnir Osoja, owner of the company "Center Albania". Here too, the perpetrators entered by damaging the main door and took the safe from the premises of the apartment.

Sources from the Berat Local Police Directorate indicate that, according to claims filed by the businessmen themselves during police reports, each of the safes contained around 100 million lek.

According to the same sources, it is suspected that a group of several people are behind the thefts. The perpetrators acted in disguise, using masks and hoods to hide their identities.

As part of the investigation, police have seized security cameras from the businessman's business and residence. However, so far it has not been possible to identify and arrest the perpetrators.

The fact that both thefts were committed in a similar manner and within a short period of time has raised suspicions that the same group may be behind them.

Despite the considerable value of the allegedly stolen amounts and the similar mode of action, so far the Berat Police have not issued an official announcement regarding these two events.

Investigations continue to identify the perpetrators, while the investigative team is analyzing security camera footage and evidence collected at both crime scenes.
