"I will kill myself, stop the plane"! Albanian asylum seeker deported

It all happened in the last moments before the plane with asylum seekers from Britain left for Rwanda.

The government's plan to branch out asylum seekers in the remote African country was canceled at the last minute following a ruling by the European Court of Human Rights condemning the initiative.

An Albanian was among the asylum seekers.

He told The Guardian he was in a "very bad mental state" as he waited to board the deportation flight to Rwanda, a country he said he knew "nothing about".

The British media writes that the 26-year-old Albanian was one of the seven asylum seekers who started the last minute legal challenges to avoid the forced flight to the East African country. The others were three Iranians, an Iraqi asylum seeker and a Vietnamese, who arrived in the UK in small boats in mid-May.

Meanwhile, the Albanian boy said: “In Albania I have been exploited by traffickers for six months. I was trafficked to France. "I did not know where they were taking me."

He said when he boarded a small boat in northern France, he was told that other traffickers would be waiting for him when he arrived in the UK.

"I am in a very bad mental state. I knew nothing about Rwanda. I have never been to Africa and I do not think it will be safe for me. I can not return to Albania because I will be killed by traffickers there. The only safe place for me is the UK. "How can they send an Albanian to Africa?"

The man said he had intended to kill himself instead of boarding the plane.

Meanwhile, one of the Iranian men said: "I was expecting support from the UK government, but I did not receive any, so I am asking the British people to support me instead. I have a son in the UK, but if they send me to Rwanda, I will not be able to see him. I have a lot of stress and my son and I have a very bad mental health situation. My family in Iran is very worried about what is happening to me. "I have always thought that there is justice here, but I have not found justice in this country."
