The forces of the Commissariat No. 4 of the Tirana Police have arrested the driver of a vehicle after he left the police and refused to perform the alcohol test.

The driver with the initials AD was found on Bardhyl Street holding a child in the front seat of the car without fastening systems, a violation of the Road Code.

During the police control, in the communication with the officers, the driver of the vehicle showed signs of alcohol use. After being asked to take an alcohol test, he refused and immediately left in a vehicle, quickly, and for this reason, the police officers immediately put him in pursuit and stopped him at 4 Dëshmorët Street. .

 

The driver of the vehicle again refused to undergo an alcohol test and after this second objection he was escorted to the premises of the Police Commissariat No. 4, Tirana, where he also refused to undergo an alcohol test at the premises of the Commissariat.

During the escort of the driver to the police station, the relatives of the 5-year-old child were notified, who was then taken by his mother.

After performing the alcohol test, it turned out that the citizen AD was driving while intoxicated at the rate of 0.86 mg / l.

In addition to the penalty for traffic violations, where his driving license was suspended for 24 months, he was deducted 15 points from his driving license and was punished with an administrative measure of 30,000 new lek.

Following the actions, the driver of the vehicle was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Driving while intoxicated" and "Disobeying the order of a public order police officer".
