A few hours after the serious incident in Pogradec , a resident of the area spoke about the late electrician Agim Beqiri, who tragically lost his life after coming into contact with electricity in the village of Zërvaskë .

The resident says that Beqiri was an employee of the Municipality of Pogradec for many years and was involved in repairing defects in lighting lines.

He testified that the electrician had noticed the defect the night before and had returned today to repair it, and that he was a very hardworking man, who worked even on his days off.

"Today it was the municipal employee for the defects in the lighting lines. He was a person who had been working in the municipality for a long time, he was a very good, regular, honest man, he worked hard and on his days off since the village had problems, he came and found the defect last night and came to fix it today. I am very sorry, may the child live. Condolences to the family", he confessed.

Agim Beqiri lost his life while working on an electric pole, while the investigation group is continuing verifications to clarify all the circumstances of the serious incident.
