DEA opens an office in Tirana? Here is what Gledis Nano says
A DEA office

The American DEA has no office in Tirana and that the news circulating in the media are not true.

The General Director of the State Police, Gledis Nano, when asked by "Panorama", said that currently there is nothing official.

However, it is thought that there are negotiations to have an office of American anti-drug agents in Albania in the future.

Recall that the Director General of State Police Gledis Nano recently paid a visit to Washington where he also met with the FBI Chief, Christopher Wray.

Initially, the news that the DEA office was opened in Albania was made public by the forensic expert, Ervin Karamuço.

“DEA welcome! It was the right time to open an office in Tirana. "Athens was becoming more and more distant for the urgent matters that dictate your presence here…", wrote Karamuço on the social network.
