Oil board 'forgets' its formula, sets higher price than estimate

The fuel price management board has set this Tuesday their price at least 8 lek above the price that comes out of the accounting formula that the board itself says it applies.

According to official data released by the Public Procurement Agency, the price of gasoline that is decommissioned today is $1177 per tonne. According to the formula, this price is added to a premio of $20, taxes, a 1 percent profit margin for wholesale rs and a 5 percent margin for retail merchants.

By CNN's estimates, with today's dollar course, oil costs about 113 dollars per litre tax-free, while at fuel pumps it should be maximum of 229 dollars, 8 dollars cheaper than the Transparency Board has decided today.

At retail trading points for 29 and 30 March, fuel will be sold for 237 dollars per litre, gasoline for 211 dollars per litre, while gas with 116 dollars per litre, with the latter marking a new record in the market.

Comparatively, on March 23, when processed oil came to port even more expensively, at $1204 per tonne, the board set a price of 227 dollars per litre, and today when it comes cheaper, imposes a higher price.
