In the historical center of Cisternino in Brindisi, the carabinieri of Fasano in Italy arrested a 35-year-old man of Albanian nationality, resident in the area for about a year.

The suspect is accused of running a drug distribution business from his house, located on the first floor.

The media reported that the carabinieri have noticed an unusual coming and going of young people near the house, thus deciding to launch actions to verify the situation.

A search of the home would turn up approximately 300 grams of cocaine, as well as smaller amounts of hashish and marijuana, along with dope packaging material and other paraphernalia.

Neighbors who knew the suspect as respectable and polite were surprised to learn that he was a drug dealer.

Investigations are continuing to identify the origin of the drug and the supply network of the Albanian, whose name was not released.
