New details regarding the case of Ruben Saraiva, the Portuguese who played the role of the executor in the murder of businessman Ardian Nikulaj in the bar owned by him in Shengjin, have come to light.

Declared internationally wanted by the Albanian authorities, it is learned that he traveled from Greece to Morocco where he was arrested, a country with which Albania does not have an extradition agreement.

But on the other hand, sources indicate that Interpol Morocco has sent a message on Monday to its Albanian counterparts, with the content: "Regarding the citizen Ruben Saraiva, who is wanted by you for murder, is the search valid? If so, you please make the practice available to us. He has been arrested by us and is being held in custody."

Practically, this is also the message that informs the Albanian side about the arrest of the most wanted and at the same time requests information about the circumstances of the case and the arguments on the criminal offenses for which he is accused by Albania.

Regarding the missing extradition agreement with this country, the relevant authorities in the past have used the principle of mutual reciprocity in some cases.

This means that there is a possibility that Saraiva will be exchanged with a person declared wanted by the Moroccan authorities and who may have been detained in Albania.

Meanwhile, this person has some of his family members in Morocco and apparently he was also informed about the lack of an extradition agreement with Albania of this country, choosing it as the country where he would continue his escape.
