Two Croatian tourists had an accident today in Maja e Jezerce, where it is suspected that one of them lost his life and the other was injured.

The mountain search and rescue group and volunteer residents from Valbona have started to help them.

The cause of the accident is the snow and unfavorable temperatures at the moment, which make it very slippery.

Maja e Jezerca is the highest peak in the Dinaric Alps, the fourth highest in Albania and the sixth highest in the Balkans, with a height of 2,694 m above sea level.
