Serious accident in Përmet, the car with immigrants falls on the side of

An accident happened around 04:00 on the Këlcyre-Përmet axis, near the village of Kuqar. The Benz type vehicle went off the road and ended up on the side of the Vjosa river. As a result, 8 citizens lost their lives, 7 of them from third countries, and the driver of the vehicle, a citizen from Shkodra, also died. According to the police, there is an investigative group working under the direction of the Prosecutor to clarify the circumstances and cause of the accident.

Also at the scene are the Local Director of Police, the Director of the Border Department, the Director of the Traffic Police and the Director of Public Order.

That's why two groups of the National Security Force are at the scene.

Around 04:00, on the road axis Këlcyrë-Përmet, near the village of Kuqar, it is suspected that as a result of the loss of control over the driving of the vehicle by the driver, the Benz type vehicle left the road and fell on the side of the Vjosë river.

As a result of leaving the road, 8 citizens lost their lives. (7 citizens are suspected to be from third countries and the driver of the vehicle from Shkodra)

At the scene is the investigative group which, under the direction of the Prosecutor, is working to clarify the circumstances and the cause of the accident.

Also at the scene are the Local Director of Police, the Director of the Border Department, the Director of the Traffic Police and the Director of Public Order.
