A civil plane departing from Belgium has lost communication while flying over the territory of the Western Balkan countries. The incident took place two days ago with the "Ethiopian Airlines" plane "Boeing 767" as the protagonist.
"Avherald" reports that this plane lost communication with Air Traffic Control as soon as it left the airspace of Croatia. During the flight over Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania, Air Traffic Control tried repeatedly to communicate with the pilots, but without success.
The pilots of the plane did not change trajectory, but followed the same flight direction. However, upon leaving Albania, the plane was intercepted by two Greek warplanes, up to the border with Egypt.
Fortunately, the plane managed to land safely at its destination, while it remains a mystery what caused the loss of communication for about an hour while flying over the Western Balkans. The airline has not provided any clarification regarding the incident.
