Premier League/ City benefits from Arsenal's false step, Tottenham towards relegation

City vs Chelsea

Manchester City took advantage of Arsenal's false step and triumphed 3-0 in the 32nd week superchallenge in the Premier League, against Chelsea.

The Citizens were dominant from the start, but the first half ended goalless. The second half was a different story.

O'Reilly opened the scoring in the 51st minute, while six minutes later Guehi doubled the lead, following an assist from Cherki.

Doku sealed the match in the 68th minute. With this success, City holds second place, 6 points behind leaders Arsenal. However, Guardiola's team has one more game to play.

Chelsea holds sixth place with 48 points accumulated.

In other matches, Tottenham suffered their second consecutive defeat, after being narrowly defeated by Sunners. Spurs remain in 18th place with 30 points, a position that will see them relegated to the Championship.

Crystal Palace defeated Newcastle 2-1, while Nottingham and Aston Villa drew 1-1.
