The coach of Albania, Silvinjo, revealed in the press conference that the striker Armando Broja needs five more weeks to recover.
According to him, the player is not yet fit to play with Everton and therefore has not been collected.
"We have spoken to Everton a bit and he needs at least another five weeks to recover. He is not able to play with his team and will not be available for us. The desire is great to return to play. There was a difficult injury. We have to be careful and protect the player," he said.
Silvinjo spoke with superlatives about Ernest Muçi, who he said is important for the red and blacks, while adding that Zeka and Spahiu were not experiments.
"We have the return of Muci, who is an important player for us. When a player changes country, it takes time to adjust. He is doing well and patience is needed. Of the 24 players I've got, everyone has a chance to play. It can even change his life. We have to understand that the players will play at the weekend and we have to see how the situation will be.
Zeka and Spahiu were not an experiment. The national team gives you opportunities. We had the opportunity to see them for 10 days. They are left-handed players. The national team is open for other moments as well", said the red and black technician.
Silvinjo emphasized that the two matches in October will be difficult for Albania.
"We have two difficult matches. The Czech Republic has a quick transition and strong players. They will be strong matches and it is a difficult group.
I heard about Albania's candidacy for Euro 2027. I am interested in the sports side. We got a lot from the U21 team. It is not up to a coach where it will be organized, but only the sports side. I am very happy for all the players. We monitor a lot and make a list. We are not a National Team, that if a player doesn't play, we can't collect him. It does not depend on how many minutes a player plays, on the minutes he will play with the National Team. I am happy that every time they came, they gave their soul for the National Team", declared Silvinjo.
