UEFA has suspended Luis Diaz for three Champions League matches after his challenge on Achraf Hakimi in the match against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Bayern Munich striker was shown a red card for the tackle that caused the injury to the Moroccan defender.

The decision means he will miss the next three games against Arsenal, Sporting Lisbon and Union Saint-Gilloise. The German club had expected the suspension to be just one match, but that has not happened.

According to "Bild", UEFA's decision has caused dissatisfaction within Bayern.

The club has requested official clarification from the European organization to assess the possibility of an appeal.

Bayern will consider further steps after receiving the response.
