Liverpool in contention for an 'immortal' record

Liverpool are eight games away to set a record that can hardly break the other team; Winning four trophies in one season.

With a 2-0 win over Vilareal, Jurgen Klopp's side are one foot into the Champions League final, one of three trophies left and where they are still in the competition.

In the final he will face Manchester City, or The La League champions, Real Madrid selected in the final.

Manchester United, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Ajax and PSV have only made triples. Liverpool are in the game for more.

Klopp's team, which has already won the Carabao Cup, is in the running to become the first English team to achieve this feat.

Besides the Champions and the Premier League, where he is in contention with Manchester City, Liverpool are also in the FA Cup final, which will play against Chelsea.

The mission for four trophies is difficult but not impossible and if Liverpool are to achieve it, then he would be an immortal record.
