A soccer referee has been suspended by the TFF (Turkish Football Federation) arbitration board after a video of her having sex was published.

Elif Karaarslan has been suspended forever after the video where she has sex with the inspector of referees, 61-year-old Orhan Erdemir .

After the decision, the 24-year-old broke her silence by declaring that the video with +18 content was created by Artificial Intelligence.

"I have a long legal road ahead of me, but I will overcome it in the strongest and strongest way possible. I hope to have all your support and love in this process. Crying, yelling and being sad are not things I would do. I am not like that, I will defend my cause until the end, I am just one of those who are being harmed, I hope I am the last", she said.

Elif Karaarslan explains that "it is a sexual video that they are trying to link to me", adding "I am not the person who appears in the video and the fact that I am facing such a serious charge is an attack on a woman's honor".

The lawyer of the former Besiktas footballer also claimed that the girl in the video is not Elif but was created with Artificial Intelligence.

"A modified video was released on social media, which was not original and was created entirely by artificial intelligence from someone else's social media account and is not related to the customer in any way... While examining the video it becomes very clear that the image is not clear and that parts of the relationship have been completely edited on the computer.”

The 24-year-old has refereed matches in Turkey since an injury forced her to quit football.

Meanwhile, Erdemir claimed that the video was shared without his permission, but admitted that his career is now over.

"My honor in my family, my social circle and the refereeing community has been destroyed. Apart from the financial losses, the emotional damage I suffered is indescribable."

Erdemir was a FIFA referee between 1999 and 2002. He also took charge of games in the Turkish Super League before becoming an observer for his fellow officials.
