Inter has officially started preparations for the new season, as this Friday also saw the renewal of coach Simone Inzaghi, who will be in charge of the black and white until the summer of 2026.

The technician arrived at the club's offices in the morning and signed the new contract, from which he will benefit 6.5 million euros per season, plus 3 more in total bonus, as he then stopped at a long press conference.

"I had many offers, but I chose to stay at Inter, as I have been here for three seasons and had a great time. I thank the company for the trust it gave me and now we have nothing left but to start preparations for the new season. To win is very difficult, but to be confirmed is even more complicated, so we have to work much more", said Inzaghi.

Inter has already made official three new footballers for the new season, whom Inzaghi has appreciated quite a bit, as he admitted that he is still waiting for reinforcements until the end of the market.

"We took Zielinski, who everyone knows, as he has been in Serie A for years and is a footballer with great values. We have studied Tarem and had the opportunity to face him as an opponent, while we had options in goal, but we preferred Martinez as he fits our ideas about the game and has had two very good seasons at Genoa. Buchanan's injury spoiled our plans a bit, but I am convinced that the managers will find a very quality replacement. I hope that the youngsters will be able to adapt quickly, as we have a long season ahead of us and we need everyone", said the black and white technician.

The new season is expected to offer quite a bit of rivalry, as alongside Napoli and Milan who have changed coaches, Inzaghi admits that other teams are also expected to do very well.

"Milan and Napoli have new coaches and will try to get the most out of them. They have enthusiasm and are also working to strengthen themselves. We must not forget teams like Atalanta, who have been there for years, at high levels, but also Bologna, who will seek confirmation. It will be a very difficult season", admitted the Inter coach.
