Good news for Gjasula, the future of the Albanian midfielder is sealed

Klaus Gjasula renewed his contract with the second division football team SV Darmstadt 98. The 34-year-old Albanian defender, who scored a goal at Euro 2024, has been playing for the "lilies" since 2021 and has appeared in 63 matches. The club did not comment on the length of the new contract.

"Klaus is a professional player with whom we really enjoy working and who is important to the team. He helps the younger players in integration and development. His importance to a team was also evident in the EURO with Albania," said Darmstadt coach Torsten Lieberknecht.

Klaus Gjasula's continued prosperity in football prompted him to extend his contract with German club SV Darmstadt 98, in the Second Bundesliga. His impressive performance at the EURO for Albania, including scoring a goal in Germany, showcased his skills on a global stage.

Despite being 34, Gjasula has shown his worth in Hesse, having made 63 appearances for Darmstadt 98 since his arrival in 2021.
