Agim Bubeqi, one of the protagonists of Flamurtari during the years 1985-1990, was found dead in his apartment in the city of Vlora.

The famous former footballer from Flamurtari's golden days is suspected to have died a few days ago, while his body was only found this Wednesday.

It was the neighbors who noticed his absence and later found him dead in the apartment.

Agim Bubeqi, born on April 7, 1963, spent his entire professional career with Flamurtari, where he played as a striker.

He was part of one of the most important generations in the history of Flamurtari, a team that during the 80s became one of the strongest teams in Albanian football and left its mark on the European arena.

A football legend from Vlorë, who in recent years had chosen to stay away from the spotlight and public life. It is learned that he had health problems and was completely disconnected from daily activity.
