Gimenez damages Jashari, Allegri: I never asked for Vlahovic, I didn't talk
Massimiliano Allegri

After a very bitter debut in the championship, which brought Massimiliano Allegri his first defeat in his return as Milan coach, the Rossoneri will take to the field again tomorrow against Lecce, at "Via del Mare".

They will face Di Francesco's team, always difficult to beat. Here are Allegri's main statements at the press conference:

After Cremonese: "The team is very eager to react after that unexpected defeat. With more care in scoring chances, we could have won. Lecce is a fast and organized team, it's never easy to play there."

Transfer market: "The last days of the transfer market don't scare me, we're used to it. The club is working to bring in the players we need, with the aim of being in a good position in March."

Santi Gimenez: "He's a good striker, the only one we have. I've known him for 20 days and we expect a lot from him."

Relationship with management: "I speak every day with Furlani, Tara, Ibra and Moncada. The objective is to have stability."

Nkunku and the demands in the transfer market: "The club knows how to take advantage of opportunities. I am happy with the group of players I have at my disposal, we just have to work."

Jashari: "He's a strong player, but he was injured today in a collision with Gimenez and he won't be there tomorrow. I see him as a midfielder in front of the defense, or in a pair."

Defense: "In 90 minutes we made two mistakes and conceded two goals. We need to minimize the mistakes, maybe even eliminate them. I don't know yet who will play tomorrow."

Attack: "Do we need a center forward like Giroud? All clubs want one. The club is working to build a competitive team."

Goals conceded : "137 goals in two years is a lot. We need work, not words. With work we will fix this problem."

The difference between the summer friendlies and Cremonese: "Football is not explained, it is played. Even when we were well positioned, individual mistakes cost us. However, I am convinced that we will improve."

Rabiot : "We haven't spoken since before the holidays. I'm connected to him because we worked together, but we haven't spoken recently."

Pa Leao: "We will find the solution, we also have options from the bench. Lecce is an organized team, we need to equalize in running and dedication, then our quality will come to the fore."

Coexistence between Leao, Saelemaekers, Pulisic and any other striker: "It depends on them. If they show willingness, anything is possible. I'm happy with this group, they train hard, tomorrow we have to win."

Has Dusan Vlahovic ever asked for it? "No, I've never asked for it, he's a Juventus player. I've talked to the club about the characteristics of the players and things that can be done. If players with different characteristics come, we'll somehow manage it."
