FIFA releases ideal 2026 World Cup lineup

FIFA has revealed the best line-up for the 2026 World Cup, including the 11 players who shone the most during this summer's tournament in North America.

The ideal lineup is dominated by the new world champions. Spain, the 2026 World Cup winner, is represented by three players, the same as France. Argentina has two names in this lineup, while Norway, England and Cape Verde each have one player.

In goal is Vozinha, who wrote one of the most beautiful stories of this World Cup. The African goalkeeper won the admiration of the world with his performances, helping his team to face Spain and Argentina with dignity, without being defeated within 90 minutes in these duels.

In defense are the two new world champions with Spain, Marc Cucurella and Pedro Porro, while in the center of the defensive department are Dayot Upamecano of France and Lisandro Martinez of Argentina.

Missing are Laporte and Cubarsi, with the latter in particular, who was considered the strongest point of Spain's defense and the best defender of the World Cup.

The midfield consists of three big stars: England's Jude Bellingham, Spain's Rodri and France's Michael Olise, who left their mark with their performances throughout the competition.

The attacking department features three of the biggest names in world football. Leading the attack is Kylian Mbappe, the tournament's top scorer with 10 goals, who also set the all-time record as the top scorer in World Cup history with 22 goals.

Alongside the Frenchman are Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland. The Argentine captain scored eight goals in this World Cup, while the Norwegian striker finished the tournament with seven goals.
