Sad/ The well-known ex-striker of Elbasan passes away

The city of Elbasan woke up today with a sad news.

Hekuran Jakupi, the famous former footballer of Elbasan and Albanian football, has passed away at the age of 58.

After a long battle with the disease, Jakupi could not make it, leaving behind bitterness to all those who knew him closely and the entire football family.

Jakupi is remembered as one of the best footballers of the 90s-00s, where he contributed with the teams of Elbasan, Bylis, Tirana, Teuta or Erzen. After retiring from playing football, Jakupi dedicated his life to the preparation of young talents, where he was recently a coach at AF Bajrami.
