Serious in North Macedonia: Masked persons attack the president of the Albanian Football Federation

A serious incident took place in North Macedonia, where masked persons physically attacked the president of the Football Federation, Muamed Sejdini.

According to Alsat.mk, which quotes the spokesperson of the Federation, it is said that the incident took place in a restaurant called "Balkanika Rustikana" in Skopje. "Leaving the restaurant after a business meeting, some unknown persons attacked the president and his companion."

The serious incident is unclear as to why it happened until now, while the police have started investigations to identify the perpetrators. Under the leadership of Sejdin, football in North Macedonia has undergone tremendous growth in recent years, however, there are often voices against him at the head of the federation.
