As a result of the flames, despite the commitment of dozens of forces and vehicles, the danger still continues to be high in the Shengjin area.

In order to closely follow the fire containment operation, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, arrived at the scene .

"We are deployed here in the Shengjin area to extinguish the fire where we have also engaged several municipalities starting from Tirana, Kamza, Fieri, Berati, Lushnja, Mirdita, Vau Dejës, Shkodra, so more than 20 firefighting vehicles and more than 80 operational forces of the Ministry of Education, supported by the operational forces of the State Police, 2 firefighting vehicles of the army, but also other forces from other law enforcement organizations where they worked throughout the night until the early hours of the morning to locate the hearth of the fires here in the Shengjin area.

As you can see, the hearth is still active, but a good part of the hearth of the fire has been located by the operational forces where they worked throughout the night with a very high intensity, which remains to be evaluated and greetings to all firefighters and operational forces who participated in this operation.

Today, we are currently being supported by the helicopter that is facilitating our work to some extent, we think that during the day we will bring it under control and we will finally close the hearth of the fire", informed the General Director of the Fire Service Arben Cara.

Minister Balla thanked all the Fire Forces, the State Police , the Armed Forces  and  the Air Force for their involvement in the operation.

"They are doing an excellent job with the helicopter, I urge you to continue with this intensity to successfully conclude the confrontation with this extremely difficult situation, which continues. We need to manage the forces well because the truth is that we have a lot of fires others in certain areas. We have brought forces here from Berat, from Fieri of course, Tirana, Kamza or neighboring municipalities with the municipality of Lezhë and we need to put it completely under control during today to be prepared for other situations and more difficult", declared Balla.
