The Commission for Appeal and Evaluation of the Statute in the Democratic Party has decided to accept the request of the complainants in the branch of PD in Korça to suspend the re-voting process for the Presidency at this branch.

The rerun of the elections for the Presidency of the PD branch in Korça were planned to be held the next day, after a part of the democrats of the southeast city claimed for irregularities and that the list of the Presidency was made at the neighborhood cafe and the votes were not taken into account. .

KAVS has decided to suspend the re-voting process held by the Re-establishment Commission in this branch in order to fully and in-depth investigation of this issue until the final decision.

DECISION

Held on 24.06.2022 in the presence of members of the Appeals Commission, Mrs. Adriana Kalaja, Mrs. Angela Malko, z. Elton Bano, z. Gledis Çela and Mr. Ledio Nuraj, after we reviewed the complaint made by the New Presidency elected in the DPA Korça Branch: Based on the request made by the DPA Presidency elected Korça Branch and after hearing the allegations from a group of members of this presidency respectively Mrs. Viollandi Stojku, z. Arian Haruni, z. Niko Cukal and Mr. Irvin Bode,


WE FOUND: That the request for suspension for the repetition of the voting process for the DPA Presidency, Korça Branch on 25.06.2022, is right and started from the short time frame of the repetition of the elections as well as the fact of the need to conduct of an in-depth investigation by the Appeals Commission on this issue, should be accepted.

FOR THESE REASONS:

Based on the legal provisions provided in the Statute of the Albanian Democratic Party, specifically in Articles 53 and 54,

WE DECIDED:

1. Suspension of the decision of KOKOE dated 13.06.2022 with No.71 / 2 Prot., For the repetition of the voting process for the Presidency of the DPA, Korça Branch on 25.06.2022, until the final decision is taken by the Commission of Appeal and Evaluation of the Statute at the DPA.
